There are a number of great online tools for creating infographics, allowing you some great visual content from a static image. These can be used brilliantly to enhance a web page, create an article, or downloaded.
Stat Planet
This great piece of software allows you to create some brilliant and simple stats and customise the visualisations brilliantly. It comes with a wide variety of images and is also very easy to use.
Hohli
This is another intuitive piece of software and a great chart-maker. It makes it easy to create a great chart shape and add data, as well as mix and match all the colours, shapes and sizes to create a very snazzy chart.
Creately
This easy to make diargram programme and flow chart is easy to get started with and also great for creating purpose made diagrams as well as add data to make your own excellent looking chart. It looks very professional in the end and is a simple and effective way to get results.
Many Eyes
This software allows you to easily upload your data and it then stores it onsite. Many Eyes will then create the visualisations automatically and is the easiest of all the infographic makers to use as it does most of the work itself.
Wordle
This is a slightly different concept as it allows you to create visualisations from words entered. There are a number of great designs to choose from and allows you to create great infographics from anything text based.
These apps are all free, though are all a little bit different in their end result. Look through all of them and then consider which you think best suits your needs and requirements and can create the best infographic for you.
